New Fonts Suggestion

This has been on my mind for the better part of half a year. I think it's about time we installed new fonts. The current ones are too dull and some even look alike - Book Antiqua & Palatino Linotype (although, I can see the latter has been removed recently). For a guideline, look onto this list

I never really made this thread because even though NB/AB didn't show these fonts as options, they still worked if you inserted their name into the BBcode. I.e. [Font.=Monotype Corsiva][/Font]. One particular font I'm personally pitching for is the aforementioned Monotype Corsiva. It worked on NB, and here on AB as well, until today, which promoted this thread. I tried the same for other fonts and they also did not work. In general I think this would be a good step forward in the name of customization and appeasing to different tastes.​

You do. It's displayed on the taskbar above where you type. It's called Font Family. But like I said, the options are minimal and most of them look dull.​

I'd also add Gabriola to the suggestion. Only thing I'd suggest not adding would be like Wingdings because I feel people would just troll with it :th-015: As much as I'd totally use Wingdings for Bio headers and such.

Ah, that's a bummer. I'll go through the options later and pick one out. But the goal essentially is a decent cursive font that doesn't look too congested when writing paragraphs.​
