Animebase suggestion thread

I thought it might be necessary to have a general suggestion thread for the new site.

Something I think is good to see whose online in each section. And to see the complete of whose online with no cut off point.

This thread is at least a week too soon. Let them adjust the things that still need adjusting and settle in. Then, we can start throwing in suggestions once we know all the features available at hand, haha.

Spotted some problems,

1. The post cannot been edited after the 5 minutes limit, which is bad especially for writers

2. The spoiler doesn't work properly

I feel it's a bit early as well. A lot of things are still be dealt with and discussed.
With that being said, of course we're always open to feedback and suggestions. This thread isn't entirely pointless, but there might be a delay at which some of these suggestions will be discussed and dealt with purely because of all of the work already needing to be done.

@Sagebee The only problem I personally have with being able to list every single online user instead of capping it is that when you have 500 people online at once...there's an insanely large log on a portion of the page. It's terrible for mobile and in some cases unnecessary.

I'd have to test it. I can see who is currently viewing this thread for certain though.

As it is though, until things are settled more with the backend stuff, just hang tight . The small things will be worked out fairly quickly.

All this talk made me think out one thing that's needed but I'm sure will come anyways so haven't bothered mentioning it, before now. Multi-quoting option. Right now I'm just opening new tabs and quoting, copying and pasting stuff to make it into one post xD Hardly efficient in the long run, haha. But like I said, I'm certain it will come soon, as with other features

To multiquote you can just hit reply on every post you want to quote and it will automatically add it to the quick reply,

There is no need for a thread when there is an entire section for suggestions. Pointless thread.

Yeah, that’s why we have his section. A single thread would get to crowded and difficult to follow.
