While Sarada possess the sharingan she will learn what it means to be an Uchiha. When she experiences loss and gains power she will learn about the Uchiha history via stone tablet.

Facts mate, she is meant to be Hokage, The first Uchiha Hokage. I think the way they're writing the story is wrong though it could've been done better, but it's not her story so...

Anyway SageBee's thread came into existence so he can try and convince himself. It's sort of trying to draw attention away from the actual points of this new chapter, Naruto has found his true son, somebody he can bond with and father.

You can take just about any name and add Uchiha to the end of it and it sounds 10x better. The Uchiha name represent a fine line of great ninja in the series. Its not as easy replaceable as Hyuuga for example because there is no one memorable from that clan. Where as Uchiha has Sasuke,Indra,MAdara,Obito, SHisui

Indra isn't an Uchiha, no one remembers who Shisui is, and the other three are remembered by history as war mongerers, even if Madara and Sasuke aren't exactly just that.

Whether he had the name Uchiha or not Indra Uchiha sounds badass, it rolls off of the tongue with authority and power. As long as they're remembered it doesn't matter the how or why? It creates an interesting opportunity which could've been explored with Sarada trying to balance the stigma and create a new Uchiha legacy while retaining the old traits, but Koshiti can't write to save his life. With Kishi he developed other characters and sidelines others yet he still focused on the two MCs. Kodachi can't write a decent MC to save his life and has sidelined everybody else. I thought he'd learn from his predecessors mistakes but evidently he hasn't, he could've developed several story's all converging at one point and written a masterpeice.

Kishi was going to orginally have her go by Haruno. Which makes sense as Uchiha are coveted. And people literally wanted to hunt down Sasuke.

So back in Gaiden, Sarada was a different character, the idea was scrapped. Evident by the Uchiha symbol.
