No he didn’t. They divided the work amongst themselves. He went to take care of the meteors. The main advantage of Limbo is neutralised if you can see them. Of course Madara can swap with them etc but he can’t defeat Sasuke with them either. Limbo are essentially souped up shadow clones which no one can see.

Except they don't disappear if hit. So its like 5 vs 1. And no they didn't divide the work, naruto sent clones after limbo and sasuke was still worried about shadows when madara was casting IT.
And at the very least, limbo ensures, madara isn't losing if not winning.

I agree with all except the plot armor point. Black zetsu simply played the "Madara's Will" strategy to the fullest which caused madara to drop his guard around Black Zetsu.
