Kakashi explained in part 1 in the chunin exam that the Sharingan was derived from the Byakugan.
We know trough the series that the Sage of the six paths has the rinnegan.
in Chapter 462 Tobi said that the sages son Indra has sharingan and that Uchiha clan descendant from him.
if Indra has the sharingan and the six path had rinnegan and Kakashi says the Sharingan was derived from the Byakugan then that means that the Sage of six path has a mom who has a Byakugan which is true:
Kaguya(Byakugan)>>>>Sage of the six paths(Rinnegan)>>>>>Indra(Sharingan + Uchiha clan) if you can see right here there is a massive foreshadowing regarding Kaguya.
