It was funny.

I would have parodied this thought process.

I couldn’t do that... I went to Yale law school.

Case closed everyone.

The reason why Kavanaugh is in trouble with women, aside from the political angle, is simply because he’s an old and sexually washed up, unattractive male.

If he was an attractive young male what he did would all be in good fun from the perspective of women.

Likewise, if Kavanaugh was a female he would get away with even less than the slap on the wrist that female teachers who seduce their teenaged male students get every other week or so.

You leftists have set yourself on a path of implosion by, among many other reasons, making yourself a party of women. There is a very significant difference between the means of the male and female populations on susceptibility to emotions (the inverse of impartiality), rooted fundamentally in genetic differences caused by millions of years of sexual selection, which, like all normally distributed traits, ramifies most significantly at the tails (the difference is even further accentuated by differences in variance).

In other words unemotional females are about as rare as females who are gifted in visuospatial ability – but both traits are common enough in the male population. Which is why women generally did not and ought not to be involved in roles at the highest level of the state but alas, that has changed courtesy of leftism. It will implode, tough.

I think if he was young and attractive he may have gotten a pass from many women BUT not from the general consensus of people that are taking it seriously. Either way it's a ploy to keep him out of the supreme court. Lack of evidence and he said she said is all that's getting tossed around. From this we've learned that kavanaugh was a frat boy that drank and fucked in college, like about 99% of everyone else thats ever been to college. Meanwhile Blasey Ford can't seem to retain a consistent timeline of events. Obviously being used by the Dems to hold back the vote for as long as possible.

Also there's nothing wrong with being raised by a single mother (or father) takes a lot of sacrifice to do it.

Ford is a lifelong Republican voter and there are records of her speaking about this incident to her therapist in 2012, long before Kavanaugh was nominated. She didn't even want to go public with the letter she wrote to Senator Feinstein, which was leaked to the public. By every measure she's a credible witness and legal experts, along with both Republicans and Democrats agree on this.

Whether or not Kavanaugh did this remains to be seen. But what we know so far is that he has lied and deflected in his hearing on multiple occassions, and there are multiple accusations against him from people he knows and did not want an FBI investigation, while Ford even said that she wanted one into her own accusation. That's quite a contrast, especially if Ford is lying and Kavanaugh is innocent. The people that Ford named in her allegation may not recall the exact details of the event, but aside for Mark Judge, who was present at the assault, the rest say that they believe in Ford's testimony that Kavanaugh did this.

Also, Ford's timeline is indeed plausible. She said she saw Mark Judge at work in a grocery store 6-8 weeks after the incident, which Mark Judge mentions working at a grocery store in his book during that time in the summer. Not only that, but Kavanaugh's own calendar seems that it might line up with her claim, along with the 3rd accuser.

More and more of Kavanaugh's peers from Yale have come forth and said that Kavanaugh was lying about his heavy drinking and many stated that they too believe Ford over Kavanaugh. So with that said, at this stage of what we know, I'm more inclined to believe Ford over Kavanaugh.

Even if Democrats are taking advantage of this, Ford's accusation is genuine.

See that's it though. The drinking and the frat boy persona. None of that looks good with these accusations or as a nominee in general. Of course he would lie about this and also holds as much merit as Ford to lie about the accusations. He said she said. Without any coherent evidence, granted even if he is innocent which will more than likely be the verdict he'll be the nominee no matter how unqualified he is. Which he isn't. I look at this from the outside really highlights how pathetic both parties are. Left using her and potentially ruining this man's life if bs and right acting like they care about the judicial system but turn a blind eye when an officer of the law murders someone. Both sides are cancerous liberal and conservative.

But you're insinuating that no one's asking for an investigation and simply want to criminally charge Kavanaugh with no evidence. That is a gross misrepresentation of what's going on. Sure, people may side with Ford, but those people along with Ford herself are asking for an investigation to her own claims because they are confident that what she said was true.

Now take a look at the other side. The Republicans have pushed back against any sort of investigation and when Kavanaugh was directly asked if he personally wanted an FBI investigation or that it was in Kavanaugh's best interest, he literally fell silent. Meanwhile the Republicans are the one's who are willing to go and confirm Kavanaugh the highest court of the nation without any sort of investigation and simply going on Kavanaugh's word over Ford. That's what they're doing, not the left.

I'll give credit to Trump for at least allowing the investigation. But here is the problem with that; even though Trump likes to say the FBI have full reigns over the investigation, other White House officials have confirmed that the FBI was restricted to only being able to interview 4 people. Other key witnesses have come forward to corroborate Ford's testimony and the FBI were not allowed to speak to them, and the fact that they only have a week to investigation with those limitations. It's all just super shady and partisan. Any other job interview does a thorough background check on the candidate and would investigate any such claims to the best of their efforts, and this is a nomination to the highest court in the U.S.

I'm well aware of the call for investigation from Ford's side. Like I said I'm not calling her on bs maybe something did happen to her but unaware if it was kavanaugh or not, maybe he himself knows something happened to her and coming out will make him just as guilty as potential colluding maybe now's the best time to come with it instead of before with his nominee being eminent. The best lies are told with fingers tied.

Maybe, but I think in an incident such as that, you'd at least recall very well who the perpetrator was. I doubt she would have named Kavanaugh unless she was absolutely sure. You have to understand that false allegations is a crime that is punishable up to 10 years in prison and also risks the accuser's own reputation.

I try to follow the Occam's razor principle, which is the explanation with the fewest assumptions is usually the correct one.

Understandable, we'll leave it at that and see what the investigation leads to which will probably be nothing given that it favors kavanaugh's defense. And dont give any credit to Trump. He knows a week's long investigation with selective questioning won't do much favor for Ford's word than a thorough investigation. Trump is using that knowledge to make it seem to others as though he cares for a fair hearing. Which we both can at least agree that ain't the kind of man Trump is.

This post explains it well.
