IMO in terms of character and who i like more it's like this. take into consideration i'm comparing boruto to naruto characters in their first 73 episodes. i'm not comparing naruto characters in 700 epsiodes. only the first 73 eps

Sarada is a superior character to Sakura in all aspects but Sakura had something to prove and room to grow and develop. Sarada has potential but it's not her story.

How is this even possible? There is no basis in order for a comparisson to be made. Naruto Part I Episode 73 featured Orochimaru vs Hiruzen. We were past Haku arc.. Wtf are you on about? The development alone of Part I characters in 73 episodes was completely different and the writting was 1000000000x superior.

first i never talked about story because we both know naruto's better in its first 73 eps. anyway nope anime wise alot of characters got development in the anime. shiakdai had 5 eps . chocho had 3 eps. denki and iwabe had 2 eps. metal had 1 ep which developed him also. sumire had an arc. etc. so stop lying to yourself. and don't make it seem like the boruto anime doesn't exsit it's still part of the series.

Shikadai is just like his father, he is an archetype and i disagree. Go read Part I (again). We can't compare the old gen to the new gen like this, 80% of the work was done already by Kishimoto in the past. The new gen are nothing but archetypes, that is why Shikadai is so familiar and feels like he was developed.

A neutral comparison would be Chunin exam completion to Chunin exam completion would be a more appropriate measure. Pathetic excuses, he doesn't have a real goal as he doesn't even know what it means to be a shadow. The author gave him a forced goal to try and give him putpose where purpose doesn't exist. He just wants to ride Sasuke's since he thinks it's cool or rather Sasuke's cool. Naruto talking about his goal was to show his determination and resolve especially when he's underestimated.
