According to Kishimoto who made her look like a female version of Sasuke. In Gaiden, he even made Naruto tell her that she looks just like him minus the glasses.

I take your words with a grain of salt but it doesn't seem he wanted to make her the physical female version of Sasuke (nothing to do with looks how you claim). In my opinion what is translated in that reddit thread is how he wanted to give her some of Sasuke's personality traits ("little bit dark"; "lost with her strong heart"). Nothing to do with physical characteristics..

Bad female examples. Kaguya wasn't a fighter. She just overpowered her opponents. Ino is a long distance combatant. Kushina didn't fight, and Tsunade quit fighting.

She is his daughter for crying out loud. This is reaching, just because Naruto is saying that she looks like Sasuke "around the eyes", doesn't mean she is the female version of Sasuke, she didnt knew her father and fought against a Shin in a similar fashion to what her dad did (smart, trying to immobilize the chain of Shin weapon by stepping on it).

One is the most beloved, well written villain in shonen, and the other is a side character more irrelevant in her respective series than even her own mother was, the latter of who is the face of "useless character" in shonen, but maybe Salad will rob her of that title.

@bold: that would be Hinata, however I agree with the overall assessment. I never thought a series which succeeds Naruto would be second rate but I was wrong. Btw imo Mitsuki seems to be the most useless character in this series.

As it stands, it could be either one. The writer's can do a 18 0 whenever they want, as shown with Black Zetsu. Even if Sakura isn't the biological mother, she is the adoptive mother.
