Live wood is NOT flammable... it will burn yes, just like human flesh will burn if left in flame for a while but its not “flammable” per say. Forest fires start by dry leaves & dead bark untill the flame gets too large & overwhelms everything

Gai is one of my top5 favorite characters, probably even top 3, yet i'm not gonna goto irrational fanboyism like you've done :| Gai would beat Hashirama, no question, but not with 7 gates only. If you think he's so fast, then imagine being shot almost point blank by bijudama, catching it, then getting shot again and still having time to run away and to summon gojuu rashomon. Yep, that is a speed feat without even using sage mode.

It's funny cause the raikage deflected that like it was nothing and with the deflection alone did enough damage to crack the hand. Also, soooo op that it hit the Mizukage and did 0 damage, which was more annoyed from the fact that it couldn't weave chakra than the hit itself.

So bottomline, it's still wood.

EDIT: Actually, if I'm looking at it correctly, the Raikage actually severed the hand, again, like it was nothing. So thanks for proving that it's just wood :lol

So judging by that, Mokuton generated wood is just as regular wood, and strong as regular wood as well.

Guy could literally bend space and you think Hashirama can have time to weave hand seals, let alone knead chakra for countermeasures? As soon as Guy enters the 8th gate, it's just GG for him. Minato, Kakashi, Obito and everyone else werre fodder to Madara, and only Guy was pronounced as ''strong''. For a suicide move, it wouldn't look bad for Hashirama to lose to him, a technique drawing its power from the life-force, it should be as hax as it is

Guy entered the 8th gate when he was just about worn out from fighting for I don't know, days alongside Naruto and Kakashi, and was still able to fight optimally in 8th gate. I think the Power of Youth rejuvenates him in 8th gate regardless of how badly injured he may be before entering it, and is actually x5 stronger using it than not, and speed-wise, miraculously fast. A minor injury prior doesn't factor into it most probably, as long as he can still kick/punch

Actually while we're at it, that single blast destroyed the entire mokujin, which was different from the Houbi technique he used to protect himself. A defensive technique would make sense to have stronger resistance, but Shinsuusenju isn't that, it's more akin to Mokujin, with many arms.

I agree, but it is proof that the wood's hardness can vary at the least. Given that its hardness can be adjusted, it's really not insane to believe it's harder than normal wood. Though I guess its hardness is actually pretty irrelevant given how many attacks have been successful against it. I don't see it withstanding Gai's flames which are both hot & full of force.
