Lookikie's thread has me thinking of this scenario. So, Sakura joins Orochimaru and we have a Sakura Retrieval Arc instead of Sasuke's. We're operating under the assumption that Kakashi is actually competent and trains Sakura recognizing that she'd only give into the Cursed Seal if she's weak.

We also assume Kakashi understands that Sakura's strong point is ninjutsu and that she doesn't have the ocular powers to mimic Lee. How strong would Sakura be at VoTe 1 & the moment Naruto, Sasuke, & Sakura all meet up again?

Honestly, I think she'd literally wipe Naruto out. The Databook says that Sakura has a water & earth affinity, so, assuming that leaf test says water, Kakashi could teach her these.
Keep in mind that 99.999% of Naruto's struggle with Rasengan was chakra control. Sakura could learn many of these within the training period.

Sakura's potential is simply next level tbh. If Kiba's smelling could increase by over 10x the norm just by focusing chakra on his nose, Kakashi could teach Sakura Silent Killing & Hidden Mist by having her focus chakra on her ears and nose.

It's also possible he'd take her to Kurenai given that all of Kurenai's students mainly focus on their clan related jutsu and haven't shown much reliance on her training them. My thoughts? Stronger than Hebi Sasuke.

What caused them to retrieve Sasuke? I'm sure Ino and, by extension, her team would have interest. Naruto still likes her too and all that leaving friends behind mumbo jumbo, I see it happening still.

Kakashi didn’t fail Sakura, Sakura failed herself in part 1 by not asking anyone to teach her. Sakura didn’t learn by herself or ask for help learning jutsu. She didn’t have motivation training until Sasuke left the village.

This is why Sarada is way better than Sakura she trains, learn jutsu, genjutsu and has big dreams.

Sarada isn’t just punching to attack, she has Taijutsu, genjutsu, ninjutsu and jutsu. She has long range jutsu and mid range which is good.

That's incorrect as a teacher Kakashi was quite bad, he pawned Naruto off whenever he could. So Kakashi is a failure in that regard and would've done the same to her. She does have water and earth affinity + yin and yang Kakashi could've helped her develop jutsu but I doubt he would.

Sakura probably isn’t comparable with the curse mark because it’s snake chakra.

But Sakura is far superior to any of oroxhiamru students , Sakura is like the sound 4 in 1.
Sakura also has more potential to learn than Sasuke and has an affinity for the science and dark arts
