It would be funny if it wasn't also depressing that we're living in a time where children need bulletproof backpacks.

We are doomed as a society.

Funny thing is that if I had kids I would consider this approach.

It's sad that it's a back to school item (though doubtful of it being a high necessity or sought out item) but ballistics protection has always been a thing of the future, the market is open for it, soon within the next 5-10 years we may see more of it in regular clothing as well to where our clothes will still be comfortable and fashionable all the while protecting us.

Good thing this is an America exclusive problem XD
I never understand why people foreign of the United States find this funny or mock it, kids are dying in schools. I just don't see what's so funny about that......

First of all don't assume stuff please. We're in 2018 :bouncy:
And I'm simply laughing at the shitty system in America, not the actual tragedy that kids are getting shot.

And it is my god given right to be happy about the fact that this problem is only exclusive to the U.S because no one wants this issue to be worldwide.

Come on Belserion.... what’s funny about 7 year olds being chopped down in pre-k by a AR-15?

I wasn't laughing about the issue at hand but about happiness this issue is only something happening in America not in my country :)

What is an ar15?

Your wrong though, there are dozens of countries we’re children are subject to weapons of war not just America and who knows, evil deeds as such aren’t exclusive. I just don’t think there is anything to laugh at, if anything simply be humble and greatful that the people in your country are safer then American children going to kindergarten.

Edit: you seriously don’t know what a AR-15 is?

Girl, if one if not the most powerful nation of this world is incapable of solving this kind of issue, then sorry but I can't help it but to laugh. I might sound cruel but I'm not in your position and i never will be. So i can't be empathetic and understand how you guys feel. I had the luxury to grow up in a country which puts child safety above anything.

It is hilarious. Stop saying it’s not funny.
First no guns.

Now teachers are having guns.

Schools are spending tax money to arm themselves.

Eventually, students will have guns.

We are so close to having young gun wielders in real life.

I think the funniest part is that they expect this idea to bring in 5 billion dollars unless they meant in general. lol.
I don't think schools would even allow these tbh, I have no idea how hard it is, but it looks like it's hard enough to knock someone out with...

America is now adapting to its new standard of living.

I wonder what happend to Cornrow, perhaps he was caught in the cross fire between the Police and the perp.

OT: This is what happens in a country which propagates war(mass killing), makes war(mass killing) a norm and portrays it in a good light, makes games which are all about war(Killing) then puts people on psychotic drugs.

I do feel for the kids but my sympathy isn't going to help, either outlaw weapons(for the cops and the people) or fix up as a nation.

The shitty system trying to solve the issue without banning guns -> funny

Kids getting actually shot -> not funny.

This is the absurdity that makes people laugh.

I want people to be safe. I don’t pray over it. I want actual results.

Let’s give it a shot. Hopefully it’s works.

But escalation is always an issue. People are just creative that way.

It goes either way if you don't understand, you laughing at the government's failure to get something done and this country's mass shooting issue comes at the expense of the student's life. So which either way you laugh it, it still isn't a funny topic, get it?

Wait. So now everyone cares about the misery of children?

That’s news to me.

It seems to me people only care when the problem is right next to them.

Because the consensus is still obvious. “Even dead children will never take my guns away. “

FYI, I don’t like guns. I think guns should be banned.

Its not about sympathy but being empathic and understand no matter how absurd our government officials treat this it isn't one of a laughing matter, I've watched the footage of the science classroom from the parkland highschool shooting which is a school 20 minutes from my home btw, children and teachers bodies lying on the floor, shits fucked and had me crying. Kids don't deserve this no matter the part of the world
