Why doesn't kawaki ask boruto

I just realized kawaki seen boruto with the karma and they're in resonance and we obviously know Kawaki got his from jigen but why doesn't kawaki ask boruto where he got it from or vise versa. It seems like a plot hole to me especially since how shocked they both were seeing each other have it, idk i would've been more curious than being a d***head to each other
