Maybe I will watch that episode considering Might Gai is together with Madara my favorite character.Sadly Gai doesn't have many fans here , me and maybe 2 other members that I remember .

Some other people don't like him (not hate just dislike) because of events that happened in 2014 when suddenly Might Gai become way stronger than their favorite and made his way into top 10 strongest characters and the strongest character without any free powers.

How could somebody not like Guy? He was the coolest guy, a true ninja who let the power of youth explode. It's one of the reasons I wanted somebody like Guy to be a new gen lead character. With shadow clones for strong fist combos/ asdist and maybe a hardening jutsu like grudge fear(stronger thaijutsu and mitigate some effects of the gates) would've been awesome.

Gai is great. There is no way not to like him.

He's like a real sensei anybody would want to be his student imo. There's no reason not to like him, although I think Kisame was cheated but that's a seperate issue.
