how was the Akatsuki able to even able to beat a jinjuricki i can understand pain and hidan because one has the rinnegan and the other immortal and maybe itachi though he doesnt have alot of stamina but the rest didnt have much going for them

They traveled in pairs and were designated prey depending on their estimated level of strength necessary for success. You have to realize most of who they hunt were not perfect hosts, unlike Killer Bee and Naruto, thus far easier to capture.

They also probably focused everyone according to their strengths, like how they put kisame, an extremely powerful water style user, against the four tails jinchuriki, a lava style user

Deidara is a tailed beast slayer and he negged low Jonin level Gaara like a fodder. Only Bee was an obstacle because he was the perfect Jin and even he got negged by Ama.

Thousands of zetsus could absorb a tailed beast chakra and drain them dry. Well in theory. So even the weakest member could match a tailed beast or jinchurki.

Also, the were S class. They weren’t chumps.

As mentioned, only bee and Naruto were threats.

Don't think the Jinchuurikis could control their bijuu, maybe they got to them before they started raging, Orochimaru went up against Naruto in bijuu form, it's possible I think.
