Naruto my fav character but the claims ppl make for adult narusasu is absolutely absurd.

Have we really came to the day that folks think NaruSasu have better taijutsu than Guy and Lee?

That’s like saying subway makes better fried chicken than Popeyes.

Lee specializes in Taijutsu and has contribute to honing it everyday since he was a small boy.

Naruto didn’t even become note worthy in taijutsu until after senjutsu training.

The gates represented physical training and endurance.

Even as an adult Naruto can’t even open 1 gate. Neither can Sasuke.

Lee was 13 being able to open 5.

There’s just no comparison. You can’t compare someone specialized in a particular skill their whole life to someone only got good later on in life.

People forget that NaruSasu massive amounts of enhancements.

Lee doesn’t have that luxury.

Hell if he had a chakra mode he’d be damn near invincible in cqc.

The eight inner gates has to be unlocked via Physical training and stem directly from mastering taijutsu.

All you need to do for sm and chakra mode is have a large chakra pool and know how to balance chakra. It doesn’t require the physical intensity that inner gates does.

Exactly what I was thinking. Opening the gates is no different than a chakra cloak, sage mode, or the sharingan - all three boost your combat abilities in some form. If base sasuke (with no sharingan) or base naruto (with no sage mode/cloak) were to fight against base Lee/Guy (no gates) then I’d say most likely naruto or sasuke would take the win just because I don’t have feats to compare against base guy or Lee when we look at the most recent momo fight, I just can’t see any non-rikudo character competing with either naruto or sasuke in any aspect *unless* they have a boost like the gates

Even if Sasuke can read his movements and evades most of his strikes thanks to his sharingan, Gai and Lee's physical energy will still send Sasuke flying off course because of the bodily energy these guys posses.
Naruto maybe vastly superior to Gai and Lee in terms of physical energy, and probably would split them in half with a yellow life/physical energy cloak punch. Still, there movements are too much for Naruto in cqc leading them to open Naruto up with parry shots to the face, legs, and torso spinning him around like an amateur.

Basically things both Naruto and Sasuke would have advantage over each other when it comes to cqc, Lee and Gai already mastered both of them and could use it against both of them with no problems

Sage mode and chakra mode also required training and hard work amongst other skills like perfect chakra control. You think Naruto just woke up one day and just had these abilities? Inner gates allows users to remove the limits on certain tenketsu and drastically increase their chakra flow to the point they literally could become 100x stronger. The technique is very well in the same leage as sage mode and chakra mode. Naruto had to train very hard to draw in natural energy and balance it for senjutsu.

In the anime Naruto used partial life energy cloak to enhance his strong punches and Sasuke used lightning style to increase his basic movements.
They did pretty well but for sure Lee will give Momoshiki a huge challenge. But we can’t forget that Momoshiki has the byukagan, that’s why he made it look so easy.

2 Rikudo characters together couldn't come close to killing Madara like 8 gates Gai did with pure taijutsu. Naruto was in RSM when he tried to speed blitz and punch Madara yet his punch was easily blocked by tsb stick. Gai fifth Evening elephant punch completely broke Tsb something Naruto couldn't come close to doing with his RSM punch. Night Gai almost killed JJ Madara with amazing durability and regeration. Rsm Naruto couldnt even inflict damage to Momoshiki who is way inferior than person with Juubi life force durability and regeneration.Naruto cant do shit to Gai with all modes allowed without using ninjutsu.
