Ok so the last 2 episodes of Boruto were good the big reason for that was Naruto.Let me explain in manga Naruto become a serious man while in Anime adaptation even with the fight with Momo he sounded and Fought the way he used to like Saying "after I beat you I'll go home" overall he sounded more easy than the serious counterpart of Naruto in manga.

In latest episode he acted just like we wanted him to act and he left early from HOKAGE'S office and celebrate both of his children birthday that was an awesome move for anime.

If Naruto dosen't act like Naruto we've watched for years it just take you out of the series the anime writers notice this and change his personality to his real self.

Naruto Part 2 and 1 would look straight into Momo's eyes and be like this:

Not the almost indifferent Hokage we've seen.

I mean: where is the Naruto that LOVED the Hokage, while his son is BADMOUTHING those who gave their lives to protect him??

:/

Well, he sees himself faulted for Boruto's negative perception of what constitutes a Hokage. If he berated him for it, it would only excarcebate the issue and escalate it to a level which Sasuke might have to chime in and smooth talk Boruto, and Boruto is still a wild child. One wrong move and he could walk straight into Sasuke's footsteps, and that's the last thing a Hokage needs.

If there was a way to put him on a leash, it would be to just bring Sasuke and let him hear talk trash about the Hokage role. Sasuke would have one or two things to say to his student and Boruto, having sworn fealty to the Uchiha and a Sasuke-believer, he would conform and even beg Naruto for forgiveness if that meant a training session was in the picture. Sasuke is actually the reason the reconciliation between Boruto and Naruto was possible. Naruto just had to figure out the buttons to push with Boruto.

As for the old Naruto diminishing into concealment, I'm against it as well, but the new Naruto is all the more an easy personality to get fond of. Growing up is inevitable, even for the incorrigibly notorious misbehaviours. He just has to tone down the serious look and smile more... and be late for work.

OT: Growth is natural though. Only in Toriyama's series does a character grow into adulthood and he still acts as though he skipped puberty.
