So I just watched the previous 4 episodes of boruto and wow, my mind has been blown! Lets talk about how epic Naruto's taijutsu has become since the last. Did you see how he was going hand to hand with momo? By far the best animation in boruto so far.

Naruto went ham even after momo drained about 55% of his chakra. Naruto also saved sasuke with the fastest shunshin I've seen yet, that flame almost roasted sasuke. Naruto is just too awesome.

One thing I'm curious about though, I thought kishi stated boruto's rasengan was wind nature? Today I learned its lightning release, something kakashi couldn't even master. ​

The way they changed natures in his rasengan was uncalled for really, I mean it was already established that his rasengan was wind and pretty sure they know the whole NV know about that by now so why change it

But my favorite part of that episode was when they took it back to naruto’s secret plan back when they fought zabuza. It’s the first time they used team work back then and showed you how battle smart naruto was (something people denying) it was good to put that in to show how much they grown over the years but never forgot their roots lol

I agree that's really stupid, lightning nature doesn't even become invisible that's the quality of wind. Lightning also emits a lot of noise and stuns Momo would've noticed it and at least felt it's effects (temporary parlaysis) but that didn't happen either. On top of that it made everything Sasuke said about training lightning and developing chakra for a stronger jutsu redundant. A rasengan with lightning infusion would already be an overpowered jutsu. I think it may just be an error on the writers part or just plain retardation.

Funny.... Sasuke was also drained from opening portal and that flame could be absorbed by Rinnegan (which is nerf) and could also counter it with stronger version of Susano'o

Great points, yeah it just doesn’t make to much sense to me, so many things he's going to be able to do with his lightning seeing how he’s training under sasuke, but instead they thought it was best if they made him half sasuke half naruto. I mean wind was ok didn’t like it but that’s what it was so I was cool with that, now lightning it’s all just fan service to try an make everyone happy by combining the 2 old MC when most only want bourto doing his own thing...

Pretty much and he'll likely be carrying Sasuke's sword or a replica and donning his cape. How low can they truly go, it's another reason why I consider Boruto a very badly written/thought out character.

Yeah but he open portals all the time to say just opening one drained him is s bit much you don’t think

Yes. In Gadien, Sasuke says it takes a tremendous amount of his chakra to open portals and travel to Kaguya dimensions. In Kishimoto original move, Sasuke said the more people that travels throw his portal, the more chakra he use.

It's true. Sasuke stated this sometime in gaiden before/after he went to orochimaru hideout to rescue sakura.

Uhm.. No? This was the first thread I replied to after coming back to the forum. I watched the episode saw this thread and replied xD

On a side note though, both did great. But Sasuke used more flashy techniques so I prefered his performance over Naruto's.
