As you may know, I'm an atheist, I haven't always been an atheist but I will probably never become religious, it's something that just doesn't work for me, even if I trited to be religious It wouldn't work.


But recently I have started to get more and more anxious and afraid of God, is this normal?

Like if something good happens I feel a psychological need to be greateful to God, like someone is watching over me or something, and if I'm not grateful enough or in the right way, I worry that bad things will happen.

What do I do about this?

God does not want people to fear him, he wants people to love him. It's up to you to decide whether you want to be grateful to God or love God but don't fear God.

There's your problem. Right there. The big guy can sense your hesitation - can sense that you aren't committing to it 100%. You only have two options I'm afraid; either give into the temptation of the holy spirit and become one with Him completely. Or you'll have to adopt a new identity and move to another country. You have 24 hours to decide.
