I'm studying at the moment so I'll see this later. But your notions seem built on prefering Sarada in the background and channeling Part 1 Sakura than becoming a solid character. It's really sad you have to use a leg-less basis for why Sarada won't be relevant, as though Konohamaru hasn't been completely reduced to fodder before our eyes. At this point, I could agree with you for the fact Konohamaru, who's a Kakashi equivalent is simply a distraction to the actual plot than anything. All three, Sarada, Mitsuki and Konohamaru could be removed from the current plot and the series would move seamlessly. All they were good for in the last chapter was unearthing some mysteries from what I could glean browsing it. Mitsuki merely talked, and Konohamaru did what? Just being a nuisance sensei as usual and Sarada carried Boruto as usual.
