Kawaki is the main character just like Boruto. He already has his characterization and backstory in this arc alone and now going to Konoha.

This story doesn't fit Sarada unless Kawaki takes her life or harms her as Boruto is destined to lose everything he loves and cares for.

It's really sad you have to use a leg-less basis for why Sarada won't be relevant, as though Konohamaru hasn't been completely reduced to fodder before our eyes. At this point, I could agree with you for the fact Konohamaru, who's a Kakashi equivalent is simply a distraction to the actual plot than anything. All three, Sarada, Mitsuki and Konohamaru could be removed from the current plot and the series would move seamlessly. All they were good for in the last chapter was unearthing some mysteries from what I could glean browsing it. Mitsuki merely talked, and Konohamaru did what? Just being a nuisance sensei as usual and Sarada carried Boruto as usual.

Not really chakra control wasn't the reason he was praised it was his ability to fuse 9 seperate chakras and do the polar opposite of the sage. He's the same level as the sage in ability and the only reason that is because he has Rokudo chakra and Rinnegan. He did it without RSM chakra or the Jyubi jin power to help him do it. Anyway none of that matters the sage passed on his own bodily powers to Ashura and chakra, eyes and spirtual energy to Indra. Sasuke has the sage's powers and he's passed the same power onto Sarada as Hogaromo passed onto Indra so yeah we can extrapolate based off of that. She's shown a lot the ability to copy and use genjutsu, the ability to cast Genjutsu and capture Jonin level ninja in it eith 1 tomoe. You being pretty sure others may be able to do the same means f all at this point since others with 1 tomoe haven't shown the same feats.
