Hinata is someone who supports her friends and is kind to them, she trains even though no one forced her to train. She would never think of betraying the village or her friends. Hinata doesn’t hit someone for petty things.

Hinata has photos of parents and family which is good.

When Hinata needs to protect someone, she does not hesitate to act and does not give up.

The only problem is Hinata rarely appeared in the manga and now in Boruto we don’t see her fight or train. It would be cool to see Hinata train Himawari since they are both Byakugan user.

I made this thread to talk about Hinata positive qualities that is all. Technically Hinata was given to Kurenai so she didn’t abandon the Hyugas. Hanabi was to be the head of the Hyuga if I remember right.

Making Hinata just a simple house wife who doesn’t train herself or her kids is bad.

If Hinata was rude, didn’t train, like hitting for petty things, insulting anyone, etc then that make her lame. But luckily she isn’t like that so that makes her great.

Hinata's character is liked because its an idiot. It'll, do anything for partner/associate, shy and shitty in term of persona. How anyone can like superflous garbage is beyond my comprehension, Naruto'd have been better off with Ino/something

She's not great, but she's not as bad as people try and paint her as. Don't get me wrong, her character arc is garbage and wasted potential at every turn, but it's not like it's Obito levels of garbage. If anything, I'd put her on par with the likes of Neji and Lee, as all three are characters who had great potential in Part 1, but did not see that potential blossom to it's fullest. I'd say even more so in Hinata's case when you look at it in hindsight when it comes to Kishimoto wanting to make her the heroine and the whole shtick with the Ootsutsuki. So to go bashing her like she's the bane of the series is extreme imo when she is just another one of the many neglected side characters.
