Would part 1 Jounin low-diff part 1 Gaara?

People like Part 1 Kakashi or Gai. Would it be a stomp in their favor, or would they actually have difficulty with Part 1 Gaara?

it depends on if if they let garra actually use playing possum. If gaara tries that "sit in my absolute defense bs" that he got away with up against gennin he's gonna get murked since both kakashi and guy are leaps and bounds faster than the likes of rock lee, and both have techniques that can 1 shot.

The only part I think that's odd is how awfully things scaled in part 1. Haku seemed to be faster than Kakashi, & Kn0 Naruto seems to be faster than that, & CM Sasuke can keep with Kn0 Naruto. Rock Lee wasn't visible to Sasuke's sharingan, yet Sasuke could trace Haku despite his sharingan being at an inferior stage at the time. It could be that it's not possible to go by who's faster or has a stronger attack just because of their positions.

I think they'd need to exert some effort to beat him given this, so no. I'm honestly certain part 1 Lee is faster than part 1 Guy if we go strictly by feats.

In a desert I think Gaara will give anyone a hard time from part 1. Especially since he can fly. outside a desert he loses which makes me wonder why he didn't fly in early part 1 but did vs Kimimmaro

Gai summons the turtle mid air like he did to chase Kisame, and uses it as a footstep to get to Gaara. As soon as he's close, he takes Gaara down with any attack he pleases. He can cover a large distance with that. None of Gaara's attacks are even touching Gai.

And Gaara only showed to float, when Kimimaro used bone forest. He hasn't shown "flying" with the neccesary speed like he did on part 2 against Deidara. Of course, if you're gonna give him feats that he doesn't have, then let's give Kakashi Kamui, and he shits on Gaara as well.

Gai is confirmed to be faster than Kakashi (even without the gates opened) in part 1. When he introduces himself to team 7 before the chunnin exams. Part 1 Kakashi is faster than Lee except for the gates.

So we don't know Gai's upper limit at that point? Yeh, that's true, so he should be faster with Gates, which he didn't display in Part 1.
