That's because his whole back story, like his character is garbage, i mean all it is,is one big sob story of man who was basically a *****, Boohoohoo,cry me a river. All the higher ups had to do was simply give itachi a order for him to kill his family, and he obeyed. Now if he can obey a order like that can you imagine what other inappropriate orders they gave him that he obeyed to? I think i just figured out how he got sick...
