It’s not just this place, nf seemed dead too(despite what people seem to claim), plus kinda clunky looking in comparison.

I went to nf for the first time to see what the deal was and I definitely can say unlike this site which is left to mostly wankers and trolls it actually still has some decent discussion going on. I prefer this sites layout but this place is pretty much dead.

I agree with every word here. Though I think the lack of balance among fan bases is what ruined this place for most people. NB these days is more like Sakura Base Extended.
I first came here when leafninja died out, and although I'm not active here, I'm not really active on NF either. I guess the venomous threads and constant hate basically ruined all Naruto discussion boards in general for me, though unlike most of you, I'll still come back here and there every other week just to see if things changed, the same way I'll continue to watch and read any Naruto content that comes out.

In comparison it is more active than here by a noticeable amount as others have said.
Both sites have better moderation and more to offer than NB as well.

I never said it wasn’t more active, that’s obvious. Unless I’m just missing the “nds” type area, it’s not really poppin, definitely nothing like nb a few years ago(granted I’m sure they where active af as well)
