Why do people worship black and white paper?

I really can't understand the hatred for "filler".

It's like, even if an episode was the best thing since sliced bread, people will still hate it because it wasn't written on black and white paper by one particular dude. Like for real: I have actually seen posts where some people admit that they liked the episode, but then they're like "but it's filler".

What the heck? What series are you people keeping up with?:

Are you keeping up with Boruto Naruto Next Generations or are you keeping up with Kodachi Kishi Next Generations?

Are you people obsessed with black and white paper? You get off to paper don't you? I bet you want to make love to that paper and that ink, don't you?

Seriously: Why can't the anime just be looked at as its own continuity? What's wrong with alternate accounts of entirely fictional events?

OT: I can still enjoy some filler, Vote 2 as an example was an excellent fight even with filler content. We dislike bad writing(significant portion od the Boruto manga) to begin with and worse filler. Sarada running out of chakra or her stupid charge at Shinki are to name a few examples of worse filler, and most importantly we hate a badly writren overdone MC which shits on everything Kishi established over 700 chapters from the get go.

Those issues have more so to do with the content of the media (whether it be the anime or the manga), rather than which one is the medium (anime or manga). That's why I don't see why "filler" is looked so down upon.

I think you guys' issue should be more so with Boruto Naruto Next Generations as a whole rather than the fact that some parts of the anime aren't in the manga.

1) Thats why its called filler. Its there to fill in air time and collect $$$ while the manga continues to give canon information.


2) Nothing wrong with that as long as you dont try to make the Anime's truth > Manga truth.

Humor me. Try to explain it.

For me at least, I dont know what others opinion, I dont worship black and white drawing but for me I only want a story that make sense, you can add an extra story but make sure the story can complementing the main story line perfectly.

Yesterday I watched one episode from Naruto Shippuden. Just to filled my spare time. I'm not really following Naruto anime very avidly. For starter the anime shows me a story from main story line but all of sudden it changed to unrecognized story where kid Naruto and his friends investigating a problem. And then there is teen Nagato, Yahiko and Konan fought with massive sewer creatures. What the fuk actually the story is all about here? It has nothing to do with main story line at all. I stopped watching this waste of time anime on the spot. Not even bother to finish the anime.

So you see I watched many kind of anime. But nothing on the level of Naruto when it comes to completely foreign story aka filler. DB/DBZ also has fillers but it's fillers still not divert too far away from main story line. You know the scene where Freiza blowning up planet Vegeta?? Manga not having that moment. We only know it from mouth words aka dialogue. But DBZ anime shows that moment. Its ok and can be acceptable because its in line with main story line.

Back to Naruto series. Everyone I think know about the famous added story of Kaguya, Hagoromo, Hamura, Indra and Ashura. The whole story was bullshit-horseshit. Copy and paste, not original, against Databook fact, unimaginative, all the negative. I'm speechless non-stop. Okay I can accept, of course I can accept the extra story but only if the extra story is original and logical also in line with manga/databook fact.

I dont care what people say or when people tell you to enjoy the story, I dont care, I dont loss anything. For me what matter the most for me especially for anime adaptation, the story needs to be logical, following established fact and able to complement manga main story line perfectly. And the fillers wont distracting the main storyline too much.

It boils down to the handlers of said content. Manga's handled by a few, most of the times, but Anime gets passed around like a bitch. Too many hands touching one maiden, and ruining it, as a result (Anime).
