Sarada can use Medical Ninjutsu ?

Hey,

So according to some stuff laying around from the Boruto Novel that is set during the "kiri arc" Sarada "concentrates her chakra" to revive Boruto when he is found laying on the ground in the training facility after fighting Shizuma.

Is this old?

No Sarada can't, Sakura had to heal her in the chunin exam arc. The canon material shows that Mitsuki's the one with medical jutsu. Sarada probably injected him with a jolt of chakra to wake him up or something along those lines.

All that confirms is she sent a surge of chakra to jump start his heart. That's more first aid them medical jutsu which should be basic knowledge for ninja. Anyway we know she doesn't know medical jutsu since she can't heal herself let alone anybody else.

You are right but she eventually will. If the translation is correct the foreshadow is strong. Isn't it the same with the 3T hype? While her novel feat as a medical nin was in the past, why is the hype with the 3T so strong? Because it happens after the Otsos invasion?

I don't take it as a foreshadow per se but a basic skill all Shinobi should have. If it was going to be developed it would'be been developed to some degree by now. The team already has a canon medic(Mitsuki) and ninja tools that take care of the medical needs. If I'm being honest with everybody having lightning style jutsu I wouldn't be surprised if all have a form of medical jutsu in the future. I for one am not sure of the 3 tomoe hype I think Kodachi's just writing things and handing out power ups with no legitimate reason. This is largely due to his inability to write a proper story or develop characters. We'll learn more as the story progresses who knows she may get an upgrade(2 tomoe) during the movie fight with Sasuke in danger and what not.

Sarada will never use medical ninjutsu. She simply doesn't take any interest in it. She spent 13 years with Sakura and all she know is how to put on some band aids - she spent 2 days with Sasuke and learned the fire ball.

And the novel in the field trip arc isn't canon, it doesn't have Kishi's name on it.

You finna drop him too? If anything Sarada is just gonna spam some light weight medical technique that’ll heal an abrasion. She isn’t a medical ninja period but that doesn’t mean she can’t learn to heal.

I don't think medical ninjutsu in this case means she will become like Sakura. I wouldn't like that to be honest, Sarada has much more offensive potential than anything but it could be a path for her to learn how to have that top tier refined chakra control, even if she is an Uchiha.

Sarada will activate her 3T in the manga for the first time anytime soon. That makes her having 3T canon.

The difference between Sasuke shinden and the field trip novel is that field trip novel doesn't have Kishi's involvement at all, and it actually came out after the arc on the anime, in other words, the novel "covered" something that had already happened.

Sasuke's Shinden only states that Sarada has a 3T, but it doesn't mention how she got it. It's untapped territory for the anime to cover - unlike the field trip.

Sarada will use Medical ninjutsu. Nothing points the contrary.

As I said, she spent her entire life with Sakura and all she knows how to do is to put on some band aids. Sakura is the best medic nin alive and Sarada is her daughter. Pretty sure that if Sarada was interested in learning medical ninjutsu, she would have learned it at this point.

Mitsuki canonically has it in the Boruto manga DB. Not in a novel.

Sarada is a front row fighter, she can't be bothered healing people. She will be too busy kicking ass and sharinganing them fodders.

And if she ever needs to heal herself, there's that new healing spray tool that was introduced in the manga.

Kabuto knows medical ninjutsu yet he is strong with Sage Mode and many jutsu along with Suiton.
