Jigen, as well as all the new characters, sucks hard in comparison to the Naruto characters. I mean the newly introduced characters after the movie arc, not the children. And since you mentioned designs, only Kashin Koji looks like a character from Narutoverse. All of Kara doesn't look like Naruto characters and their personalities are pretty messed up.

We don't know much about Jigen yet, but as it stands his chances of becoming a badass villain like Nagato and Madara are less than 1%. It will be interesting though what his, and Kara's as a whole, motives are, there's still hope that Boruto's going to be successful manga, but the monthly release is killing all the hype. Next chapter will come out on 7th July, which is more than a month away. Having to wait that long just to read 40 pages isn't worth it, it's been exactly 2 years since the manga started and we're still in the middle of nowhere. This shizz seriously needs to become a weekly manga.

Personally, I myself actually can't stand people with that persona (Madara is my fave though. Also, Madara wasn't really like that). Perhaps Jigen is more calm cool and calculating rather than big macho and commanding respect. Honestly, that is more respectable to me than the macho type. People who are calm and calculating can manipulate things to their advantage. Those who demand respect only open up avenues for betrayal (ie. When someone tries to demand my respect, I have no respect for them and would do everything possible to spite them or screw them over if I felt like it).

Also, Jigen could apparently fix it or reverse time or whatever, so he had no need to throw a fit.

Obito and Madara werent that far apart in strength and at that time they were the only comarades they could rely on during their war. Obito didn't disrespect Madara as far as manners. Sure Obito tried to manipulate the situation and he did a real good job of that at the time but what Kara did was straight up disrespect and their was no cards in Deltas favor. Madara couldn't kill or hurt Obito because he needed him for his goals in the immediate future.

These. Jigen is clearly going to be the calculating type. If you look at the last panel, you can see that he looks visibly irritated or something to that effect despite smiling(or at least talking without a hint of anger) in Delta's face.

Possibily they all have the same goals but I never saw someone get their food tossed to the ground and wasnt ready to fight afterwards. Imagine you're sitting in a room and someone kicks your food off the table. I'd be ready to fight and throw down.

It's not like Jigen couldn't replace the tossed food. And you got to understand it from the writer's view, it may have turned into a detriment to his character, but the entire purpose of it was to showcase Jigen's powers, or create some hype to them.
