Before it was pretty easy just to assume kara was behind the whole thing, but after the intro to kawaki I’ve been thinking maybe kara isn’t around anymore at that point, or maybe kawaki is actually acting out his own plan? He seems very anti kara atm. Imo it adds a slightly interesting layer to that initial scene, thoughts?

So far it looks like a mix between jugos and kimmi’s jutsus. But it’s a lil different too, His finger itself became the big blade. It’s def not what I expected from him, but it’s def interesting at this point in boruto imo

The connection between Karma seals and how Boruto having one, kind of screwed Kara's plans or created shock in Delta might be the answer to all of this. What was the purpose of Kawakii having the seal and Naruto also having it? Is Kawakii adoption related to Momoshiki being killed? Dum-Dum-Dum.

Don't act dumb. You know very well what he is referring to. Kawakii is clearly acting on his own IMO. I think he will go on a killing spree but he won't kill Naruto, this i am sure of.

You know what he meant, plus I doubt that “jutsu” is karma related, The seal wasn’t active , nor do we know how well kawaki can use his. It’s possible the seals just amp you up, although I hope there’s more to it

I agree I think he’s acting on his own, and kara is all but gone at that point in the time skip. It seems to me the extra kara seal is more of a bump in the road. Delta seemed to be the only one freaked out about it. Kk seemed more in a “let’s see what happens now” kinda mood about it.

Boy i find it extremely hard for you to bash boruto seeing as how he was barely in it, you should be happy, it was a great chapter imo. I’m all open to actual criticisms you have on the manga issue as a whole, or kawaki, or even borutos short panel or 2. No worries I won’t bite your head off this time

I think Kawakii does his own thing, he is not working for Kara or anyone else.

His childhood is full of abuse and he seems to be tired of being used by Kara. He'd most probably go to Konoha with Boruto and co at least temporarily and get to know Naruto.

Out of bitterness. Had Kawaki been born in the Leaf, he could've been under her and Kabuto's care. He knows that.
