Is it truly necessary for Sarada & Boruto to team up against Shinki?

The fact that they need to team up against Shinki obviously proves that he would beat them 1 on 1 with that in mind what can Boruto & Sarada do as a team to get the win??? And will there teamwork be as good as it was for Naruto & Sasuke?

Yes because he was talking bad shit, they are both from the leaf and want a win for the leaf, Sarada knows that if they work together, they will both be tired out for when they finally have to face each other.

No because shinki isn't that much of a treat tbh

I honestly dont know, I cant see anything in their arsenal giving Shitki a run for his money. Maybe a one-shot genjutsu.
Or their fight gets interrupted.

Based on how Shinki handled non sage mode Mitsuki, and based on how Gaara has been hyping him up, I would say it's going to be tough for Boruto and Sarada to handle him even together so I am willing to bet that the fight gets interrupted in some manner.

I don't think it will come to a conclusion if it looks like Boruto and Sarada are going to lose.
