Hey!
There is this website (I won't name it because it can be considered advertising) that works in a similar way to the internet movie database but focus on animes.
Animes are ranked by position and millions of users worldwide can review the series and make their inputs on several variables.
Let me give you some data:
1) Boruto anime score is 7.02/10 (rated by 78,754k users). In this website 7 is a "pass".
2) It occupies the 3486th position in a ranking with more than 6k animes.
3) It is rated PG-13. :glomp^^
4) It sits on the #341st spot in popularity. :eww:
5) It was favorite by 1,984 members, in a member list with 218,402k users.
6) Basically a high percentage of reviewers mention the nostalgia as the main factor for watching Boruto. Of course there a lot of people that high rate the series but there are also new viewers to the series (Never saw Naruto) that basically bash the anime as a whole.
Here are some true facts and not biased information regarding the series. My take on it, enjoy it for what it is, if there is something that can be enjoyable.
I for once only enjoyed two or three scenes in almost 60 episodes and the last 10 weren't even viewed properly but skipping parts. Everytime Boruto starts talking, i just skip it.
