03' FMA was as good if not, better than Brotherhood. A lot darker imo towards the end.

But does the boruto anime team has as much creative freedom as the 2003 fma? I vaguely remember that the same person is involved in both the anime and manga story. If that's the case the anime would be less divergent from the manga than the fma scenario

Haha.. would you recommend considering i've only seen Brotherhood... but i read the other version is the same story with little additions here and there?...

03' FMA is pretty good imo.

It's darker and has a interesting take on the mythos of the series.
