Anybody check this out? This anime is actually pretty damn good and I recommend to anyone who enjoyed the fight scenes in naruto, hunterxhunter, Tokyo ghoul, etc. you’ll enjoy it. Plus I think it’s rooted in Chinese mythology, which is a nice change. I got hooked after the 3rd episode or so. If you like the whole jutsu/ nen style systems in naruto and hxh you won’t be disappointed. It’s about martial artists with special powers in a nutshell. I just figured I’d shed some light on it since I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere else. If anyone does check it out let me know what you think

It’s current, it still gets updated weekly on crunchy roll, it’s on season 2 so you can start now. Personally the 1st ep almost put me off due to the beginning vibe, but then you get that explained like an ep or 2 later and it wasn’t what initially expected, which worked out for the better cause I ended up binging from ep 3 up until a couple eps into the second season all at once lol

I haven't watched it but I've heard not so great things but this ^ is why I tell people to not quit things so quick. You never know how or when something will grow on you.

Yea it opens with a zombie ish kind of ep, which turned me off for about a week or 2 and then I have it another shot, and it just ended up being one of the powers. Just out of curiousity what did you hear?

People are giving this show much more credit than it deserves. The title of the anime is spot on tho, Hitori no shit.

I don't usually get triggered by anime, but this is a new low.

There's no secret to the success of animes like this,either you need to have tons of fan service or such hype that will make it widely popular even before it start airing...But unfortunately "Hitori no Shita: The Outcast" got none of it

Most people with negative reviews rarely put anything beyond "it was shit" never bothering to give examples of things they like(How do I know I can trust their tastes if I don't know what they like? They may like romance or horror stories and got bummed at the lack of Zombies?) If it has good fight scenes I'll give it a shot, a few people have said season 2 looks like it'll be more promising so we'll see. Is there a manga of it do you know?
