Madara has an answer to every technique Itachi could possibly use against him. He has better taijutsu, overwhelming strength, and is a warrior at heart. He can break Tsukuyomi and completely obliterate Itachi with Perfect Susanoo. Yata mirror can't protect Itachi forever. Eventually he would run out of chakra if he turtled inside of it. There is really no comparing the two characters. One is basically God, and the other is a mere human.

If you were to put both itachi and madara on equal grounds. for example if it was a battle between a healthy MS itachi vs a healthy MS madara. Itachi would definitely win the battle with out a doubt. The major difference between the two of them is that Itachi is a pure genius with unique abilities that lets him control any situation to his advantage.
