Sasuke was too afraid to fight Orochimaru forever.Else why would he try to sneak up on a dying armless cough spitting sick Orochimaru in bed with chidori. (And that too failed)

Fair, fair, and that hardly matter because he was still clearly losing that fight...and Oro did get some upgrade since then too, (Senju DNA) but I don't see him beating any version of Naruto stronger than Sage Mode.

Never said that he could (Edo tensei is another story, though), but he can keep up with KCM Naruto, because of his durability and possibly whatever Hashi's DNA gave him (Possible access to Sage mode, Mokuton, Zetsu's abilities, etc..).:Sparks:
