First admiral to move the Marines hq to the new world.. But mostly because odas love for him and hype he gave him. And story wise, he's already guaranteed one of the last fight for luffy

Hype doesn’t mean any thing. I heard of the strongest man, the strongest creature, and always bet on Kaido to be extraordinary types of hype that Akainu can never amount to.
Just because Oda said he’ll find onepiece in a year doesn’t mean he’s gonna be the strongest, there’s many factors to consider as well as perception and personality.

He’s not the guaranteed last person that he will fight, I didn’t read that anywhere. From what I know is that after Raftel is found, Luffy will challenge the world government.
That’s too many characters involved to be named Akainu.

Dunno if it was the first HQ in the New World, but it was Akainu who moved it.

I reckon Oda has just hyped Akainu with that little comment about finding One Piece and people have gone wild over it. If Sakazuki was the antagonist, the story would be sooooooo different and over so much faster. Would probably have the Super Saiyan paradox

So that makes Blackbeard the overall baddie? I'm torn on that. He definitely is filling that role, but in a 1v1, he just doesn't seem like as big a threat as Akainu. I think he might team up with BB, because he hates Luffy that much or thinks SH is the bigger threat of the two crews, and then both BB and Akainu are final baddies.

Also, does that mean Zoro's gonna be up against Shillew, or will his final fight be against Mihawk? Do the rest of the crew get final bosses to fight, and if so, who's up against who? I think some of them are obvious, like

Chopper -> Doc Q
Usopp -> Van Auger
Robin and/or Nami -> Catarina Devon

But what about the rest?
