Wowo where should i begin? the manga refused to show us anything from the genin from other villages. They didn't interact with eachother before the exams while the anime did a great job with that.

I can't believe boruto in the manga hasn't interacted with shinki at all. Nothing. Sarada in the anime talked to shinki and yodo replied back. in the manga there was literally nothing ,

The anime made boruto notice shinki and boruto seems like he's pissed how shinki is leagues above him.

I genuiley think the manga is ONLY for plot NOTHING else. i don't expect character interactions that much in the manga.

However the anime is PLOT with the addition with the much needed character development and depth of the characters.

At this rate i feel like the anime will also make shojoji and kara arc deeper and better.

The movie arc is already expanded quite alot. we're on the 1 hour and 20 mins mark in the anime version of the movie. at that time in the actual movie we should be in the final battle against fused momoshiki.

So yeah in terms of canon arcs in the anime they're doing a better job than the manga counterpart

I agree, the episode was cool and they had so much more things to do to reach the stage of the second question but its still not comparable to forest of death

I agree. Since the moment we saw Toneri talking about the Otsusuki threat it should have been obvious that at this is the time they were going all out. Urashiki only further confirmed that. They adapted this arc four times already, (The movie, the novel, the video game and the manga) and though it seemed like they were taking the dragon ball super route at first, they managed to make it different and expand on it enough to make it interesting to watch this story again.

I'm hoping that they'll take a bit from all the previous adaptations with this, from the crazy stuff in the Momoshiki fight in the novel (The big Rasengan Boruto wields in the end is actually a massive, vanishing rasengan in the novel because it was Boruto's Rasengan) or the small cool moments of the video game (

for example) as well as the...well, the animation of the movie, to be honest. It does give them more time to work on better animation, and this episode does kinda prove that. And of course, the manga. I'm hoping we'll see Momoshiki's manga design when he eats Kinshiki. Or maybe he'll get a new form after he eats Urashiki. Who knows. That's the magic of reboots.
