Not even close, I can easily name 10 fights in Naruto that neg diff the ao fight which was highlighted with explosives hidden in nipples and flying dinner plates as a trump card. It's decent but nowhere near top tier. Especially when Naruto has stuff like the zombie duo and lee vs gaara.

Dude the fight was ligit top tier. coming off of the VS Momoshiki arc. you have a veteran Ninja who was something like a Kage in his village. 2nd to the Mizukages who was on the threshhold of obtaining god tier power being cut down before his prime and returning with the aid of ninja tech.

Ao was doing pretty well for not being in his prime, for not using any ninjutsu adn for not even having his byakugan

I mean Konohamaru even stated if this was the old AO (byakugan and all) then they wouldn't have any openings

and even then Konohamaru is < then current AO


I wanted him to have another chance for a re-battle with him being a ninja again but alas KK said he is dead

It shows that Kashin koji has been away for too long from the ninja world to consider that a “magnificent” battle, but that’s just my honest opinion.

I disagree, it's top tier for Boruto but there are too many fights in Naruto and shippuden that put it to shame, Naruto vs oro, Naruto vs pein, sauce vs kages, sauce vs danzo, team 7 vs zabuza and haku, team kakashi vs hidan and kakuzu, sauce vs itachi, I could go on. That fight doesn't hold a candle to any good fights in Naruto. It's fairly decent but far from top tier if mentioning anything involving the original series

Saying AO is dead is a mistake we did before. a mistake we best not repeat.

and no way is konohamaru anything to AO. konohamaru was 1 shoted twice by AO.
