I agree with Madara's vision of peace via infinite tsukuyomi. Who else agrees?

I've been debating it with several friends lately and I just want to reiterate that Madara was a great man with a heroic goal that would bring about true eternal peace if it weren't for the white Zetsu transformation and the Otsutsuki agenda.

I support the infinite tsukuyomi!

Who else agrees?

I don't like the matrix. And maybe peace is overrated.

In a practical sense, yea I agree. It was supposed to be a place where everybody would live in eternal peace and everything would be as they wished it, no pain etc. Madara wasn't really twisted when you consider that Zetsu told him it'd be the perfect thing and silver tongued his way into having Godara do the dirty work. Madara even said had he known what it really was he'd never have done the bs.

I bet if people actually had eternal peace they would be bored and go mad.
People need struggle, or a peace that is real.

Nah, naruto had it right. We deserve to make our own mistakes and we deserve the repurcussions, even if other people dont.
Its a beautiful thing about life, the ebb and flow of all things.

I agree with Madara's realusm and noble goals, however I believe in free will. Actions have consequneces, it's the universal law of cause and effect. At the end of the day those living in the IT are no better than those that are dead they're wouldn't essentially dead. Madara sama was better off exterminating humanity altogether if they're technically dead anyway. Although I don't blame him for it since he didn't know everything.

Sasuke found the balance and was right in that respect let them retain their free will and by him becominh their common enemy they'd voluntarily do the right thing. I think seeing BZ, gaining all the info only cemented his convictions.

If we look at it objectively Naruto and the Ashura incarnates are idealist hypocrites (generally speaking)in that respect. On the otherhand Indra and his incarnates are realists.

As perfect as it would've been, it'd still be fake with the same perfect genjutsu world without any change or growth or evolution of the human beings like we see in the real world in Boruto. Not to mention it'd have ended eventually with the arrival of the otsutsukis with all of NV in perfect state for the Otsutsukis to harness their chakra.

Real life could be harsh and painful but people would forget to enjoy happiness and joy without the concept of pain and struggle.

It's utter BS. He was naive when he thought that. IT is garbage which defies humanity and freedom.

I agree with you. The road to peace is what defines a person. But without struggle we would most likely fade into obscurity and complacency. it’s a nice sentiment, peace that is and maybe we can achieve it, but there will always be conflict. Conflict doesn’t have to result in bloodshed however, maybe that’s where we need to be looking to.

If it defies humanity and freedom, what is Heaven? They both achieve eternal bliss and nothing more.
