People already suspected Urashiki has separate or ulterior motives different from Momo & Kin, After this episode I’m convinced for many reasons
1) where did Urashiki get all these specific details on NV earth, Kaguya & Jinchuuriki? Kara. Who seem to be so plugged in on Earth that they can build country costing experiments and transport it via unidientified airships without being noticed(until the crash)
Where Kara get their ootsusuki intel? Urashiki. They knew things not even Hagoromo knew about. There’s no way they discovered all this from earthly means.
2) When Urashiki reunited with Momo & Kin, he said it’s been such a long time. At first it sounds like a few days or weeks maybe but remember Ootsusukis and time are seemingly different than earthlings. From immortality, searching for kaguya aftwr thousands of years, casually punishing Toneri to 10000 years in the dragon palace. If it really was an immense gap of time then Urashiki could of been here before and set up Kara, etc. after all he was never shown to be surprised that Kaguya is gone or the chakra has been split into tailed beasts. Because he already knew. (Although the time might of also been between the last and now)
3) Riding off of 2, Toneri knew an Ootsusuki was still out there and would come. Yet he was shocked to learn others were also arriving & that there is a main family that still exists. Which means either he himself, the moon clan or Hamura has had contact with him. Not to mention Urashiki knew him by name.
4) Urashiki knew him by name, and the events of the last so he knew(and probably the higher ups of the clan) where the moon & earth was. & again, that chakra has been separated into beasts. Yet Momo & Kin we’re clueless to pinpoint Earth and was wastefullt searching through Kaguyas pocket dimensions.
5) Kara knew of Momoshiki whose only time on Earth recently was attacking the chuunin exams. (Although iirc they did state their names before attacking & hypnotized Katasuke was there and the final fight, might of learned thru him.) not likely though because they spoke of him in such familiarity like they already knew of him beforehand. Only Urashiki could of told them about him.(if they really are earthlings)
6) It’s just pointless to add him in for a extra person to fight & to explain where Toneri was during all this
7) he just has that double crossing or I’m bigger than I seem vibe about him, calling Momo “Momo” and Senpai playfully
Of course just a theory with a few assumptions but it seems like it to me.
