From 1-10, how would scale Sarada’s development (writing) so far?

writer is too busy wanking over Boruto that Ikemoto can only develop Sarada in terms of character design..

that is why she is wearing mature clothes compared to her age. Since that is the only development that can happen.

to put this in perspective:

let's have a timeskip about 10 or 20 years into the future. Only Boruto would've matured 10-20 years. The rest are still a bunch of 12 year olds wearing adult clothing. No new abilities, no new anything. Just 12 year olds with stilettos and neckties.

I will give a 3 out of 10 because she had a couple of good moments that made me happy, but it's not enough. Not even close.

There's literally nothing to discuss in terms of development. We're still waiting.

Althought i did enjoy the Itachi reference she used earlier in anime. I'm not sure if that's development but she understands what it means to be hokage

She's meh character only because she has her own story arc in gaiden but after that her development and hokage goal is solely depend on boruto.

It's the same for mitsuki and the others but when it comes to iwabe, there is at least more to his character than just boruto.

4, Sarada was literally born with no real room for improvement , the writer are finding ways to nerf her and make her no over shadow Boruto, when in reality she should be as kid Kakashi was and just be Jonin, but then she is Uchiha so she would be too op, and she is a main character so they can give a plot flashback like we got for Kakashi and itachi .

But she is a great character and her personality , abilities and over all stories make sense

Honestly, her lack of panel time gives her significant jumps when she does, however she hasnt changed much.
but i expect her to 180 then 180 again. For some reason i dont think 'theyre' gonna follow the same pattern like were getting amped for.

Sarada will get mad development later on.

A 4 for me, that in of itself is an accomplishment given that females in the naruto verse are simply there to "support".

There isn't much development for her yet and i dont see it coming any time soon. I am eager to see what kind of character she will be become. They should have kept her demeanor from gaiden, that would have made for very interesting dynamics between Boruto and Mitsuki.

Like several people have said here, Kodachi doesn't give any focus to Sarada. Her development has been pretty stagnant since Gaiden. The anime has done her a little more justice with fights such as Sarada vs Buntan and seeing her teamwork with Boruto/Mitsuki on some filler missions. However, for the most part, aside from a few small combat scenes, Sarada's development pretty much came to a halt at the end of Gaiden.

5, if I'm to be lenient, and I pretty much share the same sentiments as other logical members who've voiced on her stationary development at the benefit of another character.

PS. She's mostly been great, and exceeding my expectations. No complaints, aside from sub-par writing and one-dimensional attention on the MC.

i can't give it anything beyond a 3. I didn't expect Sarada to be the greatest written character to this point, but Kodachi's writing is partly why i can't feel compelled to care too much about what happens.
