Nagato was like, “oh really?” and nuked the village just to prove a point. Like he was literally about to leave the village since Naruto wasn’t there.

But Tsunade ran that mouth and he had to learn her a lesson.

Tsunade talking shit led to the entire village getting turned into a loud pack.

Females be running their mouth too much. Get your village clapped for talking shit, to a war orphan, brehettes.


We felt pain too. Like come on, bitch. Konoha and the other great villages were safe (besides one Kurama attack) and fought wars in small villages like Nagato’s home.


And she got the audacity to say some shit like that to a nigga who bust down your door.

I don’t even blame Nagato for that.

To make it worse, she was in his village fighting wars while people in konoha laughed and carried on with their lives.

Nagato and the others were starting revolutions to protect their village from wars that the daiymo and great villages caused.

It’s the little villages that suffer the most. Just like in real life.

Easily the most iconic villain and scene in the manga.

Pain clapped everyone and forced Naruto to fight in the ground zero of dead villagers, women and children buried under rubble and dirt.

The fact Naruto didn’t break down when he realized he was standing in Konoha or that he was basically fighting under buried bodies was a testament to his enduring resolve.

It was only when another person from konoha was killed before his eyes did he snap.



God damn, the pain arc was Peak in story, development and fighting.

Probably, it’ll be amazing then, and then they’ll get towards the end. THEN someone in the studio will be like “this is doing great, we need to capitalize” then some stooge in the corner will go “spin off!”. Then... well... we all know where it goes from there
