Title. Like I know they know about him post war and currently. But do they know of the sasuke that attempted to destroy konoha, kill the kages, enslave the bijuu, and kill naruto? It really doesn’t seem like it. Like I’m not saying people should be throwing him shade and shit. Just curious cause it seems the new gen is completely oblivious to it

Yeah I don't think they know. If they do find out, I don't think it'll change their opinion of him too much because it was just part of his growth and he had legitimate reasons (for the most part) to stray the way he did after being mindraped by Itachi multiple times and being isolated for most of his life. It's relatively easy to sympathize with Sasuke.

I dont think they do, if Sarada dont , i doubt that any of the other kids know. And if at some point do know, Boruto wouldnt even dare to approach Sasuke to ask him to be his student

They should, maybe it would make Boruto realize what his father went through to bring his friend back. It would also help them realize how easy their lives are compared to the previous gens.

I'm guessing this is something that would only affect Sarada and Boruto. It would be cool if Sasuke tip them about his past but if they learned the truth they should learn it from the beginning so they can understand the choices he had made

If they don’t know about Kabuto’s involvement in the war, they wouldn’t know about Sasuke’s past. Also, I believe it was said that Sasuke’s past was classified to the public.

No they don’t, they prefer for the new gen to live in bliss and positivity. They teach them the general idea of how the past was; wars, parents dead, villages aren’t allies.

Continuation of my previous post: I believe it was in the Shin Uchiha arc.

They know the half truth. Like how he used to be the enemy and then he became good by saving the war, and in the result of that Naruto and Sasuke had to fight each other in order for Sasuke to find his way.
All that vague stuff, no details.

To be honest, I doubt that the new generation knows hardly anything about the past 20 or so years. It would be cool if they taught about the 4th great shinobi war in the academy, and kids knew about people like Madara Uchiha, Obito Uchiha, Kaguya Otsutsuki, and the juubi. However, I'm pretty sure that stuff is kept classified. Even the full details about the mangekyou sharingan are partially hidden from the public.

Only those that are informed by their parents, let's face it nothing remains secret. However the general rule would be not to disclose anything to the masses.

They don't need to know. Has nothing to do with them.

I disagree on the legitimate reasons part.

Idk the manga seems a bit to kid themed to cover such a topic in seriousness, maybe when their older or when the anime adapts to the manga.

Sasuke's files are classified for a reason, one day in the future everybody may learn the truth about it and the Uchiha massacre.
