In the anime even though we reached the same place Boruto still calls him Big brother that's weird

Consistency maybe? Borutos always called him that and always will(in the anime/manga). Plus iirc konohamaru has already scolded boruto about calling him that before in the anime. So they’ll probably have him do it for the rest of the series. Or until konohamaru has his big dramatic moment, then boruto will finally call him sensei for real... I dunno, just a guess
