Does a mother and father "truly" serve as a template for how you view males/females?
I believe it can give you a good outlook, or even a bad outlook. Since parents do represent a lot of what's going on in this world. It gives you an example, but as INDIVIDUALS. Not cause your mom represents all women, or your dad represents all men, I believe anyone that isn't your parent, that you're always around can do that, too...it gives you a good head start...or even a "set back", to be honest.
However, I think having two parents help better understand who YOU are, as a person, the closest connection. I think it's essential, beyond what others or psychologists tell you. I think adoptive parents are just an empty/forced connection.A sentiment/self-entitlement based connection. It sort of makes no sense. Children aren't animals you pick out in the barnyard to play pretend. Some adoptive parents are even child predators.
I truly feel people need to really enlighten others on what having a kid means. What it entails, or even what damage it could cause you or the child, if you happen to be an unfit parent. We also really need to enlighten others on how pointless it is, or how they're perpetuating a stereotype by even considering having a child, when the circumstances are just horrible. For many, they shouldn't even be thinking about it, cause it isn't some thing you do "for the culture" or to "keep up" with others.Sort of selfish. It's kind of like appropriating culture, if anything.
We need to stop culturizing procreation and stop culturizing adoption.Adoption is not suppose to be an option. And it isn't someone else's responsibility to raise your child, or some "plan B". Getting personally involved in something you can't really understand, on a genetic level. You lack the substance.
You have some parents with children, that consider adoption, so they try less hard as parents, because they think adoption is okay or open to them.It makes them try less harder, because it's in the back of their minds.
It's a set up, it's reverse psychology. They wish to lure you in.There's tons of child abuse, hidden secrets. And then you have parents mindlessly giving their children away, because they think it's someone else's responsibility to raise their child, if things don't go their way.Stop giving these people escapes, stop enabling them.
Adoption culture is enabling. Putting your children into the hands of fantasy driven wannabes.
