Why doesn't Naruto and Sasuke do this to powerup to fight the new enemies?

As we know stronger enemies are appearing in the new episode of Boruto, but I wonder why doesn't Naruto and Sasuke do these things to powerup:

Naruto
- Get Sasuke to put some of his chakra to his brain to maybe unlock a dojutsu, if possible.
- Get a piece of hair or skin of Sasuke to awaken a powerup
- Train to learn more jutsu, especially learn something outside Rasengan.
- Learn more about the 9 Bijuu KKG elements and jutsu.
- Implant Hashirama DNA to gain Mokuton and its powerups

Sasuke
- Train to gain Sage Mode and master it.
- Absorb Naruto chakra while in RSM so Sasuke can enter RSM and learn to use it at will
- Eat a piece of Naruto hair and skin to unlock a powerup
- Learn more Rinnengan jutsu
- Sasuke is given 1 - 9 Bijuu chakra, if possible
- Implant Hashirama DNA to gain Mokuton and its powerups

Those seems like logical choices for them to powerup. If the choice is death or powerup, the answer is easy powerup to stand a chance.

God there wouldn’t even be a show if that happened. If they both had tailed beast chakra, dojutsu, RSM, and wood release? Hell, you could send the whole otsutsuki clan and Naruto/Sasuke would neg diff them all lol

Lmao ^ this. Couldn't have said it better myself. There are a lot of things that people can do in anime, but don't do for the sake of plot. I use to wonder why Goku didn't do the fusion dance with Vegeta, and then have Gogeta use the potara earrings with Gohan, and then have Gogehan fuse with Gotenks and so on an so forth. It wouldn't much of a story if abilities and possibilities were abused for hax.

Wouldn't they have to inject the Dna...not eat it?

Naruto has been learning Jutsu as seen by his earth style wall.

It's a plot restriction for ninja in general. They don't really pursue jutsu or techniques. They just aim for the bare minimum.
