Ikemoto has seriously done it now or SP since Urashiki isn't in the manga.
The Jougan
As someone pointed out that Boruto was originally been given the byakugan
If the byakugan does get some similar development, we can attest that the mangyaku byakugan would be the jougan.
Boruto's jougan's appearance over his byakugan can be explained by Toneri's "meddling" - which we still cannot say how he does it but he can hack people's dreams so who cares.
The main issue is why only his right eye?
Trying to copy Sasuke's Rinnegan is just unoriginal. The dimensional travel, seeing "limbo" creatures.
Now you can argue that the jougan has been hinted in the The Last movie:
but at least let him have it on both eyes!
Some may say that he is paralleling Obito's MS tech of dimension travel - which gave him the phase ability.
and to that I say ok.. but again it still remains that he have it on both eyes and not just one so he can parallel those 2.
Urashiki's Introduction
But this Urashiki... is just repulsive.
We know he is meant to be in the Boruto movie along with Toneri but were cut due to time restraints
But his introduction in the anime is not done properly.
His sole purpose was to be a plot device. A tool to inform the viewers that there are existing Otsutsuki Clan space vampires and that Toneri is the one that brought Boruto's Jougan out before it was ready.
Then there's the thing about Boruto's fate and his eyes. Both of which the manga does not acknowledge until Momoshiki died and came back as a chakra ghost to pass on his chakra seal.
A simple narrator's voice would have suffice. Just as the narration in the The Last movie had done or Kaguya's backstory. I do not know who made this character be this way whether it is Ikemoto or just SP running rampart and ruining things but just noooo. Just because he was in the original Boruto movie does not mean you can just use him all dumb like that.
The Importance of Pairs
Throughout the series, Kishi have stressed in many occasions of the importance of pairs and how it brings balance. We can see this with Naruto and Sasuke. Then we get introduced to RS but that fell apart when it states that Naruto will become RS and therefore will lose his pair which ends the balance. This gave rise to Hagoromo and Hamura (Indra and Ashura were basically the placeholder for this pair).
We can already tell with Momoshiki and Kinshiki that the dynamic with the "Otsutsuki Clan" - I refuse to believe that it is only one specie and one clan for that matter that exists in space - is in pairs as well. Momoshiki travels with a guardian, Kinshiki. This was hinted by Kinshiki's dialogue before becoming into a chakra fruit:
meaning they do a guardian to foster child thing and travel in pairs having the guardian be an emergency chakra fruit to the child - for fast maturation or something. It could be that they are used to become a god tree in that planet as he did say he intends to make a seedbed.
So Urushiki being a solo party just does not make sense.
Kaguya may have had one before. You could argue that it is Urashiki and Kaguya was to be the guardian. If so, it would explain why he got there before any other Otsutsukis including Momoshiki and Kinshiki and how he knew what has happened and who everyone is.
Had this happened AFTER the Boruto movie timeline, this would make more sense but it isn't.
This insertion was made just before, probably how it was intended from the movie before being cut.
With that in mind, Momoshiki and Kinshiki were still in the dark and Urashiki never did anything during the course of the bijuu retrieval.
This would explain why Toneri was not able to warn Naruto and Sasuke about the Celestial Beings nor was he unable to communicate to Boruto.
Still, the fact that Urashiki held Toneri in such high regard and with such familiarity is confusing. He acts as if he is a part of the main clan and had been in contact for quite some time. Like a friend or an acquaintance meeting again in such a long time. His attitude towards Toneri befits that of a royalty. This would explain Kaguya's and Urashiki's status in the clan. Kaguya being a royalty and Urashiki being a branch.

Do you believe that Urashiki referencing the main family was Momoshiki and Kinshiki or do you believe there are others? Why did they not join Momoshiki and Kinshiki if that is the case?
fun fact: Masashi Kishimoto has stated that if a Sharingan user and a Byakugan user were to have a child, their offspring would have one Byakugan and one Sharingan.
