Ok, but somehow this manga doesnt make sense. According to anime - even if its filler, the same people were standing behind Ashura and gave him power to equal Indra just like in the manga image

No they weren't equal.They only became equal when Hagoromo transfered his Ninshuu power which is RSM + he had the help of his clansmen of Senjus whereas Indra was given zero power + no outside helP.AsurA's main theme is recieval of Help from his brothers through the power of 'love'/somE kind of similar asspull powerup which is the exact same theme the Orange haired blue pig prophecy boy is using to solo his outclassed enemies.And that orange haired little BS boy's housewife, who is pretty literally trashfeatless.

Their fight ended in a tie didn't it? However, Ashura only got as strong as Indra through the help of others like Naruto w/Kurama.

The manga states he obtained a power that rivaled Indra by working hard. Then later it states that Hagoromo gave RSM to him.

So either Hagormo did not give him rsm, or Indra was that much of a badass take on his brother despite him having it.

Not enough detail...

1-Ashura may have matched 3 tomoe Sharingan Indra...then got power from Hagoromo. With Indra getting a Mangekyu enhancement do to butt hurt later. Assuming in this case Indra was born with Rikudou Chakra.

2-Hagoromo only made Ashura sect leader and didn't power him up in anyway. Since he was against concentrating power in a single individual.

3-Ashura wasn't a Sage...so, he didn't gain Rsm.

This. The only thing I believe Hago gave to Ashura is leadership over Ninshu. Not power to take on Indra.

Well there are two options.

Either Indra gained a power up after Hagoromo gave Ashura power. As Pre-power up ashura = Indra.

Or

The "power" hagoromo gave him wasn't the type of power that could be used in battle.

It's spelled as Asura (Asura Ōtsutsuki) here, not Ashura. That's an unrelated word.

Databook states that the difference in power between hashirama and madara was ‘paper thin’. Guidebook states Naruto and Sasuke are equals. I’d be genuinely surprised if I couldn’t find similar evidence for Indra and ashura.
