Dragonball is not a serious story you imbecile. Its supposed to be just a bunch of flashy fights thrown together on a flimsy narrative. In fact when I was giving my exams, the best way to get some stress off was to watch DB fights. Naruto has infinitely better story telling which is its hallmark and it relied on gore earlier but its starting to lose some of it as the series progresses. I find Part 1 Naruto to be darker and have more gore than Part 2 and Part 3 is something for a 5 year old
