I agree, my objection wasn't to the Sakura comparison per se although I think Sarada's more like Itachi. We know Daft dislikes Sakura so his motives/implications are quite clear in that respect.

Anyone with a a drop of common sense knows Sarada won’t be Sakura 2.0 so it’s not worth getting mad about but more so something to laugh at and ignore if you can.

OT: Those gifs don't say much about Sarada being like Itachi really. Just about every shinobi can throw kunai and shuriken. Even within the Uchiha clan, there were several members who excel at that kind of stuff (including her father).

For her to be like Itachi, we'll need to see more specialized genjutsu as well as something similar to Itachi's usage of crows, and perhaps some suiton in addition to her katon.

I honestly see Sarada as a shinobi whose potential surpasses Itachi's (if the writers give her some screen time instead of centering everything on Boruto 24/7

Doesn't justify the shitstorm in this thread. And real Sakura Fans wouldn't mind Sarada having the same moveset as Sakura. Byakugou and CES is actually awesome.
