This subject keeps eating at me. I feel like I'm being toyed with, severely.

No, "reality" is to detailed for it to be a simulation, it's to hard to learn stuff that i'm not interested in, the nervous system that informs you of pain is to detailed, the amount of sub species of various animals is just to big (like there is 9.000+ diffent types of spiders) or how if you give lobsters anti depresents they work on them and it alters their behaviour because their nervious system is so similar to ours or how there is 30.000 + different versions of christianity.

it's too detailed with way, way to many unessesary elements for me to even humor the idea that everyting is just a simulation or that we are just a brain in a vat.

I think that's just your limited way of thinking. When I speak of "similution", I don't really mean it as in "pretending", pretty much like a "realm" that our souls enter...I guess to PROVE A POINT.
