Even Asuma was quite good. Well not at Kakashi or Gai's level but definitely much better than the chunnin level jonnin we see in Boruto.

Anyone of them could've soloed Ao with his fodder ninja tech on their own.

Some sound Jonin outnumbered Shikamaru during p1 Konoha crush and they were all Jonin level iirc. Asuma literally wrecked them all in seconds. Dude was a badass as well.

OT: Without a doubt. Will be disappointed if that isn't the case. Konohamaru should be the weakest.. he probably might not stand a chance against the ninja tech guy.

Asuma actually was quite good, especially at cqc. Had he known about hidans ritual he would of been able to take him one on one, kakuzu on the other hand would still stomp. If anything it shows the difference in power/skill between a higher ranking jonin and jonin of kakashi/gai caliber

Yeah like everyone said above I'm underestimating Asuma. Konojobaru is a scrub compared to his grandfather and uncle.

As it stands right now, Hanabi and Moegi are the top candidate. Konohamaru never left me any good impression when he's simply a knock off of Naruto and he turned out to be really underwhelming just as I expected.

Btw Konohamaru,Udon, Moegi compared to Kakashi, Might Gai and Asuma. New generation of jonins is really weak.
